Has Sir Paul McCartney found love again? According to today's tabloids, McCartney has been dating Sabrina Guinness, a former society beauty who romanced Prince Charles in the late 1970s.
The ex-Beatle is currently locked in a bitter divorce battle with estranged wife Heather Mills.
According to The Sun, Sir Paul wined and dined Sabrina in London on Wednesday evening.
Friends of the musician, 64, said that society beauty Sabrina had been a shoulder to cry on: "It has been difficult, but Paul's dealt with his divorce with great dignity. His friends are desperate to get him to go out and start living again. People like Sabrina are making this possible.”
Quoted in The Mirror, Sir Paul said: "I've known this lady for a while. We enjoy each other's company and when we get together we talk about stuff like the environment and Al Gore - things like that. We have similar views."
Last night sources quoted in the paper played down talk of anything other than friendship. One source said: "It's ridiculous. He can't go anywhere without sparking rumours of a romance."
Sir Paul's spokesman Stuart Bell said: "There is no relationship beyond friendship."
Sabrina Guinness has previously dated rock musicians Mick Jagger, Bryan Ferry and Rod Stewart. Most famously she was photographed with Prince Charles at polo matches, and was touted as a future Queen after visits to Balmoral.
Heather Mills grabbed the headlines earlier this week after making her debut on US TV show Dancing with the Stars.
