HENRY HOLLAND 25, is the fashion designer behind House of Holland. In October, he presents Frock Me, alongside Alexa Chung, on T4. He lives in Primrose Hill in a flat he owns with Agyness Deyn.

* Organising a fashion show is like planning your own wedding — except at weddings everyone has to be nice to you, even when your bridesmaids are ugly.

* I started out making T-shirts with slogans that flattered other fashion designers. They sold because people in fashion like others to know how knowledgeable they are.

* My generation arrived alongside the Wags and Big Brother. We want to prove ourselves — we’re very driven.

* I find Noughties fashion depressing — it’s seen-it-all-before fashion. The 1960s, 1970s and 1980s were pioneering, and now we’ve reached a stage where we just pick and choose our favourite bits and mix it all together.

* My right-hand man is my oldest friend; she’s also a woman. I think same-sex friends who work together fall out more easily.

*I know a lot of people for whom being cool is a full-time career — it makes them either insane or alcoholic.

*I get so jealous of Agyness: she is the product and gets paid just for that; I have to spend a lot of money before I make any money.

*I’ve always been into making money and buying and selling. When I was 10, I used to sell rhubarb from the allotment.

*My hairstyle is a necessity. I have a very small head, so I have to create this big extension.
