If you want to help make the care system more open and accountable, the first step is letting your local MP know how you feel.
Type your postcode into the envelope below, and you'll be taken to a form where you can write a email which will be sent directly to your MP.
Please only write to your own MP as letters from constituents are taken very seriously.
Individually written letters are more effective than cut-and-pasted campaign letters. Wherever possible, include examples of your own experiences. You might also want to mention that:
1. You're writing to support The Times' campaign to open up the family courts to outside scrutiny.
2. Social workers, expert witnesses and Guardians are insufficiently accountable for the decisions they make to take children into care.
3. It's hard to defend a system from accusations of wrongdoing if it operates behind closed doors.
4.You would like your MP to approach Jack Straw, the Secretary of State for Justice, and urge him to reconsider the the Constitutional Affairs Select Committee report into Family Justice from 2005 which argued that the family courts should be opened to the press in all but exceptional circumstances.
Fill in your postcode below to write a letter to your MP. You'll be sent to a new page.
Thank you for your support.

Until CSA recognise that money is often the driver behind mothers stopping the Dad from seeing their kids and the courts start enforcing access orders, what hope do poor fathers have? The parent with so-called 'care' in this case stops access to claim more money from CSA! The system doesn't work.

Please write to your MP.
We need complaints piled to the ceiling in every MP's office.
I accept that many MP's are ex social workers, so won't take action, but even they will be silence if the 60 million citizens of the UK turn on child protection en masse.
Sally Ann Cooke, Newport,
The plan is to cause as much trauma as possible to parents and children, thus destroying the loving relationship therein.
They know- being experts- that this trauma causes fragmentation and renders family members helpless and thus under total control.
The Elite live off our misery.
Catherine Mills BA, HdipEd, CTG,TTG, London, UK
Why do the media not tell the truth? Mps don't care e.g. Peter Viggers who gave me permission to go to any MP in the country and I can liist the so-called Mps how have been contacted and either refuse to get involved without seeing evidence or meeting me...all one big game against whose interests £
Shaun O'Connell, Portsmouth, UK
The whole point is being missed crimes are committed in secret courts including perjury (which includes contents of reports ordered under acts of Parliament) which are knwon or suspected to be untrue, perversion of the couse of justice and it would seem the interests of insurane companies come first
Shaun O'Connell, Portsmouth, UK
The current system of family law is creating real harm to our children. It is torturing families and the social wellbeing of generations to come.
Urgent reforms and complete openess is needed now!
Listen to Fathers-4-Justice, they make sence but not billions of pounds within family law system.
