How long does it take you to get ready?
Very quick, about ten minutes. All my boyfriends have been impressed with that.

What is your natural hair colour?
No idea. I first bleached it at 12. I went brunette once but I couldn’t leave the house for two days.

How old is too old for a micromini?
I’m probably way too old for them, but I still wear them.

Who is the world’s most beautiful woman?
Anjelica Huston — I think she’s really beautiful, but I adore that woman who is in Hitchcock Blonde, Rosamund Pike. I went to see it the other night and I was mesmerised.

Top tip from a fashionista?
Good posture makes clothes look better. And don’t wear tight clothes if you’re overweight, you just look squashed. Is that really mean?

And from a beauty icon?
Only use conditioner. I’ve been doing so for six months and it’s made the biggest difference to my hair. Get a good face cream. I’ve been using Bio-bee for years, £12.50 (at Harrods Pharmacy 020-7730 1234). It’s made from bee pollen.

Exercise: for champs or chumps?
I swim every day, ride three times a week and do yoga and Pilates.

Do you judge a man by his clothes?
They can wear anything as long as they say that my outfit looks great. You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, right?

What do you dislike most about your body? Very big feet. I also wish I had bigger bosoms, smaller feet, a firmer bottom . . . I could go on.

Were the tabloids right about your cellulite?
I don’t think I have cellulite; that picture in the Mail wasn’t me. I don’t look like that now.

Do you wear couture?
Yes, I have a beautiful Christian Dior that is covered in diamanté and rhinestones — a long black thing with a trail. It’s gorgeous

Who is your role model?
I modelled myself on Veronica Lake and I’m staying there.

And your motto?
Don’t be too hard on yourself, and don’t expect too much. Keep a lid on that ambition.

What would you like to come back as in your next life?
It might be nice to be a Tibetan monk, picking herbs in the Himalayas, chanting.
