Q I am going to a totally Wag-tastic wedding in Alderley Edge in September. The bride will be wearing Oscar de la Renta. What should I go for?
A You have two options: full-length and floaty, or short and sparkly. This dress, right, by Matthew Williamson, from his pre collection (£895; matthewwilliamson.com ), is delicate, feminine and sexy. Wear with simple sandals (LK Bennett’s in gold are about £60 in the sale) and keep hair and make-up natural. Alternatively, this backless sequined number from Antik Batik (pictured, £364; my-wardrobe.com ) is perfect for the party bit of your day. Cover up with a blazer for the actual wedding — New Look has a Miami Vice-style one for £30 that would work well. And don’t forget your killer heels. These by Zara (pictured, £59) will definitely make a statement.
Q I am 22, in my first ‘proper’ job, and my tatty Primark wallet isn’t cutting it. I’m desperate for a grown-up one that’s classic yet modern. Leather would be best. Is that possible for about £100?
A See by Chloé does great accessories and this purse, with its bright colours (pictured, £125), is perfect. For a more sophisticated look, Angel Jackson’s faux-snakeskin wallet (pictured, £100) is also chic and definitely grown-up.
Q Where can I find a non-wired bra that actually looks like lingerie? I’m neither a nursing mother nor a sportswoman, and those seem to be the only breasts that are catered for.
A With soft-cup bras, you have all the advantage of pretty with none of the constraints imposed by underpinnings. The Flirt bra, by Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers (£3.50; sexypantiesandnaughtyknickers.com ), comes in bright colours and is one of the prettiest around. Or try the Toquade, by Princesse Tam Tam (£39; figleaves.com ) — no hint of sporty there.

Three in one
Roland Mouret is famed for designing clothes that make women feel fabulous. And with the launch of the TTD, he’s set to make us feel sensible, too. Working three ways (as a tunic, top and dress) it will no doubt be the key piece for autumn. Okay, it’s £699. But you do get three outfits in one. Or, for a mid-range version, try Vanessa Bruno’s draped dress (£235).
