This is the second instalment of the classic CS Lewis fantasy series. And since it is based on the film of the same title, there are many sequences that mimic those from the big screen. You must help the Pevensie siblings (and the prince) to fight their foes and also solve a variety of simple puzzles.

What’s surprising is that the game also broadens out from the main story to bring in large-scale battles in which you can fight for good as a variety of fantastical creatures, ranging from minotaur to dwarf. Whether you are loosing off arrows as Susan, the sharpshooting child archer, or teaming up with giants to repel a siege, the game never stints on things to accomplish and evil-doers to slay. It certainly looks pretty and does a fair job of bringing Narnia and its wondrous inhabitants to life.

Although there are some interesting puzzles to tackle, the gameplay is somewhat plodding and predictable. Still, children who love the whole Narnia shindig will be in seventh heaven, and the wealth of bonus material provided certainly justifies the price of admission.
