I too suffered extreme racial hostility from a neighbour. I had a brick thrown through my window, my car was set alight and my children were taunted on a daily basis. The police could never do anything. I feel for Habib Khan. 8 years for defending his family is just too much.

Here you will note the judge said the killing was without intent and like all cases the judge looked at mitigating factors some of which is pointed out in this article before sentancing.
